Where do you eat in Dumaguete? ............................if you are vegetarian
Persian Palate. It served Indian and Mediterranean food. With new menu, its easier to browse through but we had been eating there for 3 years. It seems like the food are same same. Its good right for the consistency but tends to bore us already.
Fhu Garden. Best Chinese Restaurant in the Phils for me esp for vegetarians. From mushroom soup to veggie balls. I love it. Only drawback for this place is you have to travel going up to the Valencia Road to have dinner and they are only open at night.
Jutsz Cafe. Best in Dumaguete. Open from 10AM to 10PM daily. Its a lucky discovery for us while walking from Cafe Antonio back to Obdulias, its in from of Food Net. On top of the menu is their vegetarian adobo. Best adobo ever. For Php 83.00 you got a big plate good for 2 persons. And it is really good. Their pizza, its looks like a cheap thick dough with small regular tomatoes, but dont be deceived, its taste good. They use fresh herbs and some fresh mushrooms. Some mushroom came from the can, but for the price you are paying, it is so worth it. The iced tea is a little sweet for our taste, its not lemon iced tea but calamansi iced tea. This cafe is not just vegetarians. We saw from other tables that they serve pork, chicken et all but all with twist. The whole place is quiet with carefully chosen decor. Good for families and dates alike. Good. Really good.
